As a subsidiary of France Télévisions funded by the French Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs, CFI has acted for the past 20 years as the French operator in media development aid for 150 partners in Africa, the Arab World, the Balkans, Caucasus and Asia. Its method: harnessing the expert knowledge and savoir-faire of French media professionals to help modernise the media in these countries, via consulting and training initiatives, audits and research.

logo ijasIJAS (Independent Journalists' Association of Serbia) is the biggest and the most significant Independent Association of Journalists in Serbia that was founded in 1994 during the times of highest repression over media, as a professional organization of journalist who has lost their jobs and suffered from Milosevic regime. The main goals of IJAS are free and independent journalism, plural media, development of professional and ethical standards, protection of journalist rights and interests, as laboring and legal rights, and cooperation between journalists.

Founded in 1968, IREX has a staff of over 400 professionals worldwide. IREX’s mission is to enable local individuals and institutions to build key elements of a vibrant society: quality education, independent media, and strong communities. IREX has been supporting professionalization of the media in Serbia for the last 10 years through several media assistance programs funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). In 2008 IREX started implementing new Media Assistance Program, with a focus on reaching sustainability and better ratings of local and regional radio and TV stations.
